"It is May 24th, 1990. Ascension Day. Six weeks ago Reinhardt Tauchnitz was burst with a friend to conquer one of the highest peaks and be the first DDR (east german) citizen which has stood on an 8000 meter high mountain. Tauchnitz and Karsten Koenig also should be the only one. Eight years later he wants to try a climb again. He wants to climb to the top of the 8201 meters high Cho Oyu."
